Stop Press book launch of reimaging south africa

Peter’s book launch for “Reimagining South Africa” will be at The One And Only restaurant on Cape Town V & A Waterfront on 4 June.

Peter joins the Head of the AU Commission Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Anglo-American CEO Mark Cutifani, Discovery Health CEO Adrian Gore, Archbishop Thabo Makgoba, music legends Hugh Masekela and Yvonne Chaka Chaka and others as contributors to their new book “Reimagining South Africa” published by McKinsey & Company to mark 21 years of South Africa’s democracy and to look ahead to what the next 21 years may bring.

More details follow below:

In the first 21 years of its democracy, South Africa has achieved a remarkable transformation – bringing freedom, dignity and opportunity to its people, delivering housing and electrification to millions, and building a globally competitive business sector. Yet much remains to be done.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary in South Africa, McKinsey & Company is releasing a special publication, Reimagining South Africa, which brings together essays by 20 thought leaders who share their insights on what is needed to propel South Africa forward. The book includes sections on Shaping our Future – Together, Delivering on our Full Potential, Unleashing our Nation’s Talent, Embracing Africa’s full Possibilities, and Reigniting South Africa’s Spirit. The essays make it clear that while there is a tremendous amount to celebrate about South Africa’s achievements, its best years lie ahead.

McKinsey & Company invites you to attend the launch of this very special publication featuring several of the book’s contributors, and moderated by Bruce Whitfield of Radio702.
